Safety in the salon

When a client chooses a beauty salon, what comes first is not only the result of the procedure, but also the feeling of peace of mind and confidence in their own safety. At Fast Line Studio, we place our clients’ trust above everything else, which is why we follow the strictest hygiene and safety standards. It is important for us that you feel protected and fully confident in the sterility of our environment.

We have developed our own safety protocols, which are followed without exception by all employees. Compliance with sanitary standards is overseen by the state authorities of Spain, but the main control is carried out by us every day.

For us, safety rules are not just a formality, but a real daily practice:

• The salon is equipped with a modern ventilation system and high-quality lighting for the comfort of both professionals and clients.
• After each procedure, tools undergo a 5-stage sterilization process, and the premises are regularly disinfected.
• Every professional undergoes mandatory medical check-ups, confirming their professional competence and safety.
• Hygiene standards include the use of hand sanitizers, thorough disinfection of work surfaces, the use of disposable materials, and individual packaging of instruments.
• Only certified products and cosmetics are used, with permits and certificates of conformity from the Ministry of Health and the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN). This applies to hair dyes, cosmetic products, disinfectants, and all materials that come into contact with the skin.
• Our internal protocols are aligned with the requirements of government inspection bodies and are regularly updated in accordance with current Spanish safety standards.
• All equipment undergoes technical inspections and complies with electrical and fire safety regulations.
• Every employee is required to complete occupational safety training.

We constantly improve our procedures based on legislative requirements and recommendations from relevant Spanish authorities. For us, government inspections are not a formality, but a confirmation of our high level of professional responsibility.

In our manicure service, your safety is the top priority. All instruments and work surfaces go through a two-level disinfection system that guarantees absolute sterility.

• Sterilization completely destroys fungi, viruses, mycobacteria, and even the most resistant spores.
• Medium- and low-level disinfection effectively eliminates bacteria and small viruses from work surfaces.

The instrument treatment process at Fast Line Studio is as follows:

1. Used cutting tools are immersed for 30 minutes in a Surfanios solution.
2. Drill bits are cleaned in a Podosonic ultrasonic cleaner, which removes dust and microparticles.
3. Instruments are rinsed under running water with a brush to remove residual biological material.
4. Drying is performed with disposable towels.
5. Instruments are placed in kraft paper bags for further sterilization.
6. In the dry-heat sterilizer, the bags are heated to 180°C for 60 minutes. The indicator on the bag changes color, confirming proper sterilization.
7. Afterwards, instruments are stored in cabinets with ultraviolet light for up to 20 days. If the bag is damaged or the storage period has expired, the instrument undergoes sterilization again.

Work surfaces are disinfected after each client. Before the procedure, professionals wash their hands with soap, apply antiseptic, and work in protective gloves. All disposable materials are used only once.

Our staff strictly follow hygiene rules: they wear clean work clothing, keep hair covered, protect their faces, and do not wear jewelry. This ensures that no microbes enter the work area.

Hair care in our salon is also performed under safe conditions. Haircuts and styling are carried out in compliance with special protocols for treating all instruments.

Combs

• First, cleaned of hair with a brush.
• Then immersed in a Surfanios solution for 30 minutes.
• After rinsing and drying, they are packed in vacuum-sealed bags, which are opened only in front of the client.

Scissors

• The blades are rinsed, disinfected for 5 minutes, and rinsed again.
• Afterwards, they are dried, lubricated with Wahl oil, and packed in vacuum-sealed bags.
• They are used only after the bag is opened in front of the client.
• Sharpened when necessary.

Clippers and trimmers

• After use, they are treated with Blade Ice spray, and the blades are lubricated with Wahl oil.
• Attachments are rinsed, disinfected for 10 minutes, rinsed again, dried, and packed in vacuum-sealed bags.
• They can only be used after the bag is opened during the procedure.
• Tools are sharpened when needed.

Thanks to these protocols, clients of Fast Line Studio can be certain: during a manicure, haircut, or styling, they are in a sterile and safe environment, and all instruments meet the highest safety standards.
